Boring..boring..

Yes, we know certain meetings can be boring, but not ours! Our recent MP Question Time public meeting on the 6th of December with our new MP, John Milne, certainly wasn't. A big 'thank you' to John Milne for giving us his valuable time and informative, interesting and candid answers.

OK, so an AGM meeting might not be thought worth attending, but our Forum AGM on Tuesday, 7th January 2025, at 10 am will be!

It's at our usual venue, courtesy of Age UK WSBH, Lavinia House, Dukes Square, Denne Road, Horsham RH12 1GZ. You can attend either in person or via Zoom (please request the joining information either through our website Contact page or email hdopforum@gmail.com).

We won't have guest speakers, so we can get through the usual AGM matters, such as the election of the committee, finances, etc., and allow more time to discuss your views and ideas for what the Forum should be doing, what the concerns and issues of older people are, answer questions, etc. We will also hold a committee meeting immediately after.

Have you ever thought you'd like to 'give something back'? To put all those 60+ years of your life experiences to good use? To make a difference for others like yourself?

Do you have a little time to put to good use for a good cause? Well, here is your opportunity! We would appreciate your further support by your joining our Forum committee. bringing your energy, ideas, life experience, and knowledge that will help us enormously.

If this interests you, please come to the AGM and ask questions to see, hear and feel that you can contribute and how you will make a real difference. Stay for the committee meeting, be made welcome, learn even more and find just how enjoyable and rewarding being a part of the Forum committee will be for you.
